What Is BlueSkin?

Washington1

George Washington and his horse, BlueSkin.

BlueSkin was the name of George Washington's white horse. President Washington realized the importance of form and function.

His loyal horse not only provided him with the ability to travel but also made a visually
impressive statement when our Founding Father rode him. It is that combination of utility and presentation that inspires BlueSkin Solutions.

General Washington rode BlueSkin throughout the Revolutionary War. The sight of Washington atop his white horse gave courage to his troops, hope to the patriots and struck fear in the heart of the American oppressors. The original BlueSkin has been memorialized in paintings, sculptures and film and statues of the general on his trusted horse stand a few miles south of BlueSkin Solutions at Washington’s home at Mt. Vernon, where BlueSkin retired after the war.

The horse BlueSkin was one of the best tools Washington used to spread the ideas of Independence, Liberty and Freedom to the newly established nation.
